Happy New Year! Here's to a great year in 2010!

Though a lot of things happened over the holidays, I'm honestly unsure what to blog about, or even where to begin.

As anyone who has access to this blog is likely already aware, Mana is now about 7 weeks pregnant. And so far, she does not appear to be a fan of it. In general, morning sickness has lasted a lot longer than mornings, and she is constantly trying just to have enough energy to get normal things done.

As you might imagine, this has put something of a damper on a lot of holiday activities. Mana has been very willing to go out and do holiday related things despite her nausea, but it's hard to truly enjoy doing many things when she is feeling so ill all the time.

That said, we have been able to make some fun memories this year.

Though I loved all my Christmas gifts, my favourite gift this year would probably have to be Dragon Age: Origins, an Xbox 360 RPG my wife gave me. Honestly, it's been hard to put it down. The best gift I gave this year was probably the electronic keyboard I gave Mana (with some help from my parents).

On New Year's Day, Mana and I drove up Nosehill Park to watch the first sunrise of the year. With the clouds, it wasn't honestly that spectacular, but it's a tradition that I've never experienced before, and was, in a way, kind of reassuring that the sun will still rise in 2010.
